To change the default settings, go to Settings=>Payment methods:
Then press "Change default settings":
It will bring you to the "Update account default settings" page where you can select the default payment method and define in how many days invoices should be paid:
Here you may also define the default time zone for new users, currency, default PDF page size and orientation, locale of invoices, and client invoicing manager.
